Returning to normal routines
Exercise, alcohol, sauna and flying after lip filler
Most people return to light daily activities quickly, but heat, strenuous exercise and pressure may increase swelling or irritation.
Exercise
BeautyBell recommends avoiding heavy, sweat-inducing exercise for 3–7 days. Light activity depends on how you feel and your personal instructions.
Sauna, heat and sun
Avoid sauna and strong heat for 48 hours, and direct sun or solarium during the first week.
Alcohol, food and pressure
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours, and very hot, spicy or salty food if irritating. Avoid straws on treatment day and kissing for three days.
Flying and travel
Flying is not automatically prohibited, but treatment should not be scheduled immediately before important travel.
